Believe in yourself and you can achieve greatness. Hi I’m DawnMarie. It took me quite awhile to believe in myself and get where I am today. I’m a first year student at Mohawk College in the medical administration program.
Going to college was just one of my many goals I have set for myself and accomplished. I’m excited to start planning for the future, graduating college, getting a great job, getting married and having children. These are a few of the goals I hope to achieve in the upcoming years.
About 5 years ago I had absolutely no intentions of going to college and I was headed in the wrong direction in life, but that all changed in an instant. One morning on my way to work I was stuck by a van while crossing the street and I didn’t know if I was going to survive or not…I went through an emotional rollercoaster for months after that and it took quite awhile to recover from that. I did though and I look at life completely different now, I try and live everyday like it’s going oto be my last. I appreciate all the small things in life.
I’m very proud of who I have become today and all the things I’ve accomplished and hope to achieve much much more. I look forward to meeting new and exciting people during my time spent at Mohawk College.
